Competition format

Sollentuna Invitational is an invitational tournament for academy teams, boys and girls born 2010. Most of the games are played in Sollentuna's footballs hall. The tournament starts with a group format. All teams are placed in a group of 4 teams. The 1st and 2nd placed team go to the A finals and the 3rd and 4th placed team go to the B finals. In the A finals there is a semi-final and final but no bronze match. In the B final there is a placement match.

FIDA:s rules apply in all relevant sections, otherwise the Swedish Football Association's rules apply. All players must be insured.

Transfer

Teams are responsible for taking themselves to and from the matchers. Both pitches are just a few minutes walk from Norrvikens train station.

Accommodation

If teams book accommodation via the cup it will be at the Scandic Star in Sollentuna. This hotel is 100m from Sollentuna C train station and is only 2 stops from Norrvikens train station which is 500m from the pitches.

It is possible to book an extra night on 27/10 for 1200kr for a double room and 1400kr for a trippel room.

If a single room is required then it is an extra 450kr per night.

Food

For participants with accommodation - dinner will be served at the hotel on Friday with lunch and dinner on Saturday and lunch on Sunday served at Norrvikens IP.

For participants with food -  lunch and dinner on Saturday and lunch on Sunday served at Norrvikens IP.  

For visitors and guests there will be food and drinks served in the cafeteria e.g. hamburgers, cakes, drinks and coffee.

Insurance

All teams must make sure that all players are insured on and off the pitch. The cup has no collective insurance. 

Changing rooms

There are changing rooms at Norrvikens IP but they will be shared amongst the teams so do not leave valuables unattended.

Important dates

15 September : Last date for payment of participation fee. Both players and trainers pay this (only players if not food or accommodation)

13 October: Last date for ordering special food or number of participants. 

26 October: Group matches

27 October: Finals (the boys final will be finished at 14:00 and the girls final around 15:00)
